Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyed Guanyin Bodhisattva Relief Thangka

This is a large three-dimensional relief Thangka, measuring 1.48 meters in height and 1.15 meters in width. It is crafted from high-purity purple copper (pure copper) as the main material, paired with a carved solid wood frame, combining durability with traditional aesthetic charm.
The work adopts intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship: hand-forged copper chasing and natural mineral pigment painting. The purple copper plate is shaped through annealing and hand forging, with details hand-chased. Natural mineral pigments such as azurite, malachite, cinnabar, and gold powder are then applied and fixed at high temperatures, enhanced with gilding, and finished with anti-oxidation treatment to extend its lifespan.
The central figure is the Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyes Guanyin Bodhisattva, with a pure white complexion, main hands in anjali mudra holding a cintāmaṇi (wish-fulfilling jewel), thousands of hands radiating outward with an eye in each palm, seated on a lotus throne. Above are the Five Dhyani Buddhas, while below on both sides are Manjushri Bodhisattva and Vajrapani Bodhisattva, with traditional Thangka elements like auspicious clouds, mountains, waters, and lotus ponds in the background. Symbolizing great compassion and universal protection, it is believed to safeguard households, bring peace, wisdom and merit, and ward off misfortunes. With a solemn and full appearance, it is ideal for worship and display.
