Sakyamuni Buddha Enlightenment Relief Thangka

This is a Sakyamuni Buddha enlightenment-themed Tibetan Thangka with a core size of 90cm × 63cm. Crafted as a high-relief 3D copper piece, it combines engraving/casting relief, long-lasting natural mineral pigment painting, and partial gold gilding. 

The central figure is Sakyamuni Buddha seated in the lotus position, with his right hand in Bhumisparsha Mudra (touching the earth to witness his enlightenment) and left hand holding an alms bowl — the classic iconography of his attainment. Following a traditional Tibetan layout, the upper section features Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, lineage masters and auspicious clouds, while the lower section displays Dharma protectors, dakinis and the mythical Garuda bird. Framed in a carved Tibetan-style wood frame with colored lacquer, faux gemstone and gilded patterns, it presents a magnificent and solemn appearance. Symbolizing enlightenment, compassion and wisdom, the Thangka embodies overcoming ignorance and suffering, receiving blessings and guidance, and warding off evil and misfortunes to bring peace.
